Ignoring the results of the first three games of the season, they have been all too similar. A lot of possession, little consistent penetration, porous defending, and rescue missions by Alan Kardec. It was the lanky attacker who once again kept a loss at bay by scoring a late equalizer against Paulista this past Sunday. It was 1x1 at the full time whistle as the reserves ended their run of games with another draw to add to the win against Ituano.

A Draw To Open The Season

The season began on a damp note yesterday with a draw against XV de Piracicaba. Based on the flow of play, it could have been worse. The Paulista A-2 champions were confident on home soil, and created the majority of the goal-scoring opportunities throughout the game. Even so, we managed to take the lead through Alan Kardec, but lost it at the death as Crystian gave away a penalty.
